The day was well, what could you say about it it was just absolutely one hundred percent pitch perfect, it was like something out of a book or a fairy tale just without all those sparkling lights in the sky and fairy's flying about casting their magic and giving every single human being a nice little happy ending, because you know its the real world and happy endings where not all that common, but then as a kid you never believed that for one moment, well depending on what happened but hey. It was perfectly sunny, the sun was high in the sky raining its delightful rays upon those little ants called humans below, it was more than that though if you looked at the sky it was clear not a cloud or such in the sky, just the sun hanging there letting the humans bask in it glory, like a king on a balcony waving to his subjects. It was not all that hot though it was more really just warm, if it was hot most of the kids out and about would be sweating their socks of and others would want to be staying inside to get away from the heat.
Jere was sat next to the lake as it reflected the sun off it causing the water to shimmer a little. He was sat on the grass facing the lake his guitar which had his dads record company name on it was in his right hand, he quickly adjusted his uniform before taking a look around, there was a lot of people out and about hopefully they would not mind him playing, hey some people might even come over to listen that would be good. He stopped looking around and started playing the guitar to a song from snow patrol chasing cars, he mouthed the words as he did it not realizing someone was nearby because he had his eyes closed now.
(Not sure if you can guitar chasing cars)

Seeing as how today was such a nice day, Miranda decided against sitting in the dorm and doing her homework, but going out by the lake to do it. She'd grabbed all her assignments and shoved them in a pink Jansport backback and was now happily walking through the school grounds, a slightly bounce in her step as she did. As she walked she looked at her classmates, most who were uptight rich kids; none of them really gave her the time of day. They just thought she was some little girl here on a scholarship or something. But she wasn't. Her absentee father decided to make up for the lost years and send her here. She wasn't really happy about it, going so far away from her familiar, but happy, little small town life was hard. Especially when you had to be surrounded by snobby rich kids, most of whom judged you if you weren't wearing the latest style.
She looked down at her own uniform. She wore a white polo with some blue horse over her left chest, the shirt part of the clothes her father gave her. Her uniform skirt was hemmed really short, and she wasn't too fond of that, but the white tights covered her legs. She then smiled at her navy Converse and their sparkly silver laces; to her, they made the uniform. Miranda suddenly halted, and looked out onto the scene before her. She grasped lightly onto either side of the straps of her backpack, staring out into the lake. This would be a great place to do her homework. The sound of music playing, a familiar song, drifted to her ears and whipped her head around to see where it was coming from. Her eyes landed on a boy playing the guitar. Her large blue eyes watched him with fascination then her feet started moving toward him. About 10 feet away she stopped and plopped down to the ground, making a small 'umph' as she did, but she didn't stop listening or watching the guitar playing boy.

Jere kept his eyes closed as he played he was unaware if anyone was watching him or even sitting next to him for that matter, neither did he care at this very moment it time. He was lost in his music as he played, he seemed to get lost in his music often it was his passion, it did help his dad owned a music record company so that might be one of the reasons why he liked his music so much. There was though on the male line of his dads family a rich history of the people doing something with music, his grandfather was known for being a pianists, not famous but he was know at least. Jere kept to the music of chasing cars how he knew it as he played, he did not deviate, and to Jere it sounded perfect, and he was enjoying it, it was calming in his mind, he was not sure how it affected anyone else, but on a day like this he was sure not many people would be complaining. He put effort into what he was doing still mouthing the words as he did, this helped him when he was doing music he had no idea why.
Jeremy opened his eyes as the music stopped and he looked around a little there was a girl sitting not that far away from him, at least 10 feet away, he looked at her curiously then smiled, she looked at least a year younger than him. He put down his guitar and spoke. "Hey, sorry if I was ignoring you I get lost when i play." he told her smiling a little, he glanced out over at the lake for a moment before returning his full attention back to her. "What's your name?"

Miranda had closed her eyes at some point and had been bobbing her head along to the music. Her knees were pulled up to her chest and her small arms were wrapped around them. It was a nice break from the day. To sit out by the lake, surrounded by fresh air and music. It was relaxing. Even though she was only 13, she needed to be able to sit out and enjoy a moment like this. 13 year olds could feel overwhelmed too; especially when they were in places well out of their familiar environment. As she heard the music stop and someone speak, she opened her eyes and looked at the boy.
Smiling brightly Miranda got up from her position on the ground and closed in the few feet between her and the boy. Holding her hand out, she said, a smile still on her face, "I'm Miranda Rehl. Whats your name?" The way she said it sounded almost childish, not that she would care; she was still young.

Jere took her hand smiling and shook it before also saying his own name as well, while checking over his guitar "Jeremy Chase, nice to meet you Miranda Rehl, what's your age?" he asked her he did not mean to be rude he just felt that it was always nice to know a much as you can about a person, it was both his curiosity that had lead him to ask such a question and just because he felt it not right not to know something about someone, who he knew nothing about or had never met before.
He smiled and went back to checking over his guitar testing it cone more, before placing a hand through his hair and looking out over the lake. An idea came to his mind and he turned his head to ask her a question "Would you like me to play another song maybe ?" she has not complained about his earlier song on the guitar so he had guessed she did not mind it and he was eager to play another one anyway, he was not sure which song he would play maybe she if she wanted to hear one would tell him which one to play.
